Queen of the Green for March is Neta Manwaring who had a win over Marsha Phillips. In other matches, Jenny Blundell defeated Lesley Manwaring, Viv Christie lost a see-sawing match by two points to Jan Slavin, while Betty Cleveland and Diana played a draw. Crazy Whist is on again tomorrow at 2.30pm, with new players always welcome.

COOTA EX WOMEN
In the major singles, three games were played last Wednesday.
In the first game, Freda Hambrook skipped away to 16-7 lead against Rhonda Nolan, but Rhonda mounted a challenge to have the score at 16-all. Freda won five of the next seven ends to secure the win 25-20. Lorraine Evelyn played Margaret Cosgrove. After 14 ends, the score was 16-12 in Lorrain's favour. She finished the stronger and move on with a 26-20 win, while Joan Cummins led all the way in her game against Sara Lopez to win 25-11. Carolyn Buchanan recorded a 25-24 win against Robyn Snape.
In social bowls last Wednesday, a triples game was played between Lee Bristow, Robyn Snape and Bev Black, against Colleen Goode, Marilyn Allen and Wendy Deacon. Colleen, Marilyn and Wendy took the win 24-12.
COOTA EX MEN
Major Pairs. Keith Hampton and Steve Stanton had a great win, defeating Dennis O'Brien and Wally Chater 25-11. The father and son team of Bob and Adam New defeated Rob Hillier and Geoff Manwaring 26-11. Kim Roberts and Mick Willis played Terry Cosgrove and Rod Bradley in close encounter, but Terry and Rod went on to a 19-16 win. Mark Devere (sub) and Peter Hoang defeated Paul Cockram (sub) and Wayne Ford 22-14. Jim White and Jason Jones defeated Tony Curtis and Peter Colvin 22-14.

Grade 5: Travelled to Boorowa to play Boorowa Ex the leaders after two rounds, but unfortunately lost 1-9.
Grade 6: Travelled to Binalong to play leaders after two rounds but, also lost 1-9.
Grade 7: Had a home game against Boorowa Rec, where they recorded a 9-1 win.

Social bowls: On Wednesday, March 11 there were three triples games with Roger Goode, Duck O'Neill and Jim White recording a close 19-17 win against Mark Devere, Graeme Snape and Peter Hoang.
Meanwhile, Rob Hillier, Ned Kelly and Jim Deacon defeated Oscar Lopez, Ross Phoenix and Jeff Cook in a close game 22-19.
Nippy Field, Rocky Ford and Graeme Dennis defeated John Huntington, Jason Jones and Geoff Hillier.
On Friday, Bill Rush and Geoff Hillier were far too good for Grumpy Fisher and Jim Deacon.
A great win to Oscar Lopez and Jim White, defeating Neil Blackett and Jason Jones 25-22. Mick Andrews, Keith Hampton and Rob Hillier defeated Brian Driscoll, Wayne Watmore and Bruce Gillies 26-19, while Larry Wing, Kye Fisher and Graeme Snape recorded two shots on the last end and record a 16-15 win against Bob Winter, John Huntington and Craig Jordan.
