The Under 11s Bulldogs met the Young Cherrypickers in the final round of the Group 9 season on Saturday, September 12.
Unfortunately the Cherrypickers were too strong for the Bulldogs, running out winners 42-26 in a high scoring encounter.
In other matches Junee defeated Turvey Park 30-24, Wagga Kangaroos Blue defeated Harden/Boorowa 32-28, Wagga Kangaroos Red lost to Wagga Magpies 32-12.
Following the final round club president Luke Dabin said, via the club's social media, the club has had another successful year, thanks to everyone doing everything they could to ensure our kids play footy.
"Throughout 2020 we saw our kids welcome new teammates and create new friends in those that came to our club from out of town in order to play the sport we all love," Dabin said.
"We want to thank all those that joined us and embraced our club as their own.
He praised the club's volunteer base which allows it to field teams in the Group 9 competition.
"On behalf of the club, I would like to thank every volunteer that helped throughout the year. Without our canteen helpers, gatekeepers, First Aid Officers, Coaches, Team Managers, League Safers, ground managers, bbq chefs, referees, ground managers, committee members and merchandise coordinators our kids would not be able to take the field," he said.
The club will hold its annual general meeting on September 30.
