The Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council has issued a notice alerting residents and motorists about planned road works on the highways around Cootamundra over the remainder of this year.

The works will necessitate some single-lane closures and short delays, and the estimated durations will be weather dependent.
Next week, starting Monday October 19 and running for around seven days, crews will carry out heavy patching on a number of sections of the Olympic Highway and Burley Griffin Way.
From Monday November 2, and scheduled to run until Friday November 27, crews will work on the second stage of the Gap rehabilitation project.
In mid-November, there will be resealing of the Olympic Highway and Burley Griffin Way, expected to be completed early December. This will be followed by line marking on both highways from early to mid-December.
