In what was a difficult year for all winter sports with Covid19 restrictions interrupting the season, Scott led the Blues to a semi-final berth. It was at this stage they went down to Woden by 10 points (Woden 7.7.49 d Cootamundra 6.3.39).
2020 was Scott's first season at the helm of the club he spent his junior years with.
He began his football career with the Blues playing Auskick before stepping out for the Eastern Hawks as a junior and making his senior debut as a 16-year-old.
Joe has also had stints with North Albury in the Ovens and Murray League and played senior football with Belconnen in the ACTAFL.
He returned to East Wagga for six seasons, including two years as Senior Vice Captain and was a member of the 2016 Premiership side.
He lives and works in Coolac.
The Blues will hold their presentation evening tonight (Saturday, October 17) at the Cootamundra Country Club.
The following weekend will be one of their major fundraisers - the 100 Club draw in conjunction with the AFL grand final.
