The Bulldogs have confirmed Grant will tackle Geelong, making her the first father-daughter selection to play for the club.
Grant will have No.3 on her back, the same number that the Bulldogs' head of football donned during his 341-game AFL career.
The Bulldogs have posted a clip on their social-medial channels of the 19-year-old informing her father of the call-up via a gift-wrapped box that contained her AFLW guernsey.
"No way," a delirious Chris Grant said, beaming with pride.
"Are you serious!?"
Bulldogs coach Nathan Burke, whose own daughter debuted for St Kilda in round one of this season, called the rookie to break the good news.
Grant was drafted in 2019 but injuries ruined her hopes of playing in 2020.
