Police said on arrival the house was found to be well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW and Rural Fire Service Firefighters are presently working to extinguish the fire.
No persons have been injured.
Police say the fire has been contained and neighbouring properties have not been affected.
Police, Ambulance Service, Council and Essential Energy are currently at the scene.
The operation is ongoing.
