Cootamundra Sports Foundation Sportsperson of the Year dinner
The Cootamundra Sports Foundation is holding its annual Sportsperson of the Year dinner this Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Ex-Servicemen’s and Citizens Club.
The foundation is thrilled to have current Canberra W-League Soccer captain Nicole Begg as guest speaker.
Nicole will conduct a coaching clinic for the soccer club on Saturday afternoon which will prove popular with the local players.
Players will be able to see how the key defender works on the field and see her ability to read the game and turn defence into attack.
At the dinner, Nicole will provide an insight into her career, including the thrill of playing National League Soccer, on being named as captain of her team and the performances of the national team, the Matildas, in qualifying for the 2016 Olympics.
