A 36-year-old Cootamundra man has been charged in relation to an alleged glassing incident.

Inspector Frank Brown from Cootamundra Police told the Cootamundra Herald there was an incident at a hotel in the town about 11pm on Christmas Eve.
Police will allege there was a dispute involving a group of men in the hotel, Inspector Brown said.
During this dispute, a Cootamundra man was hit in the face with a glass, causing bruising and lacerations.
After investigating the incident, police charged the 36-year-old man with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Cootamundra Local Court on February 4.
