The two combined for a nett score of 59 and a half, prevailing by just half a point over Daryl O'Keefe and Alewx Baldry.
In third place were John Dawe and Bruce Freer with 60 and one quarter ambrose points.
The event attracted 56 players.
The women's winners were Julie Moon and Maggie O'Malley with 76 and one quarter points.
The mixed competition was taken out by Des Rowe and Julie Jenkins with 63 and one half points from Maree and Anthony Deep with 66 and one quarter points.
The ball competition went down to 66 and three quarter points with balls going to: P Deep and M Deep. D O'Keefe and A Baldry. J Dawe and B Freer. L Twyford and L O'Keefe. G Bass and G Byrne. B Carberry and J Smith. S Twyford and R Bradley. R Scott and J Bunworth. B O'Loughlin and P Manwarring. J Jenkin and D Rowe. A Deep and Maree Deep. K White and G Rudd.
Nearest the pin on the third was Geoff Byrne, the fifth was Nev Potter and 9th Geoff Byrne.
Cootamundra's winners now advance to the Regional Final which will be held at Wagga Wagga Country Club on November 24.
The State Final will be conducted over two (2) rounds of 18-holes at Bonville Golf Resort. Round 1 on Monday, December 9 will be two-person Ambrose and Round 2 on Tuesday, December 10 will be Fourball Par.
